First Steps

Little Ian took his first steps last night. I wanted to get pictures or video when that stuff happens, but it happens so fast. Ian took two steps when he was trying to get from the coffee table to the couch. He has been standing on his own and squatting for a while now. He is growing up so fast! New pics coming soon.

Little Ian had a checkup today (9 mo). He is 24.5 lbs (95th %) and 29.75 in. (90th %). He is a little chunk. Our backs are screaming at us every day. But we would not ave it any other way. We love him to death.

Ok, so I don't post on here as often as I would like. But some is better then none, right?

Anyway, we have finally purchased our first house and now live in Land O Lakes, FL. Life is good. We are loving our jobs and our new home.

I will try to keep up with updates in the future. We hope all our friends are doing well out there.

Back Home!!!

Ok, so it has been a while since we last posted. But we are FINALLY back in Tampa (well Lutz anyway). We moved back in June and are in the process of buying a house, and will be moving to Land O Lakes in October. Very exciting, out first house!

Anyway, things are going well. I am working for HCSO (Hillsborough County Sheriff for those not in the know) and Sherry is doing home health, still as an OT. We, at least I (Joey) will try to post on here more often, now that I am done with school and have more free time.

Sherry is now on Facebook, so you can find us there as well. That's it for now. Pictures of the new house soon. C-YA!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So, we have been in Tampa (well, actually in Lutz) this week, celebrating the Christmas holidays with our families.  This year was less hectic than last year.  We have been able to relax a lot this time around.  Very nice.

We have enjoyed spending time with our families and friends.  But, alas, we must return to our lives in Gainesville.  We hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a safe and happy New Year.

It's been a while...

So, obsviously we let life get in the way of sharing our life with others.  Hence the lack of recent posts.  It has been a while, so I wanted to fill people in.  I am finishing my fall semester at UF.  Only one more to go and I will have my BA.  WHOO HOOO!  No more school!!!

Sherry had an intern the past 9 weeks that certainly tested her resolve.  If you want the details you will have to call her and ask.  It is too complicated for me to spell out here.

I have started my hiring process with HCSO, so the wheels are in motion for us to move back to Tampa.  We started looking at houses and all the fun that goes with that.

Now it is time for the Christmas holidays.  Thanksgiving was a nice break from everything.  I have been busy with work and school and it was a much needed (although short) vacation.  After you arrest 150+ people for DUI and go to court for all the cases, one needs a little break.  We are taking another short vacation for Christmas, so looking forward to that.

For those that we won't see during the holidays, 'Merry Christmas' and 'Happy New Year'.  Please be safe and have fun.  I promise we will start posting more often after the new year (was that a New Year resolution?  hmmm...)

Same old stuff . . .

Not much to post lately. I finished with the Spring semester (with two B's) at UF. Now on to Summer classes. FUN!! :) Then on to Fall, and ... well, you get the picture. Hopefully, I will be done by December, but my suspicions are that I will finish in May '09. Oh well.

We just got back from Tampa this past weekend for Mother's day and little Emmy's birthday. She is so cute. The baby bug has struck Sherry again. Again we will discuss when we can have a little one. Soon we hope, but time will tell. I would post pictures from this past weekend, but alas, I can't find our camera in this mess we call our apartment. Pictures to come when I locate it.
